Jay and I with some friends went on our first cruise to Alaska and let me tell you, if you have not been cruising you should give it a try. It was so much fun, relaxing and we did things that I never thought we would do...Okay we did ONE thing I never thought we would do..Zip Lining....Let me set it up for you...When going into the ports you can chose to do different activities in the towns...and Zip Lining was the one that stood out for me..So hear I go and talk the rest of my group into doing this thing and on our way there my husband asks..."Who do you think will freak out first?" I, of course chose him and my girlfriend who are both afraid of heights. I wouldn't freak out, no way..not scared of heights here..Bring it on...That was my cocky attitude...So it starts with all smiles, a great Jet boat ride to the island, a ltitle 4X4'n in a Mule (name of the vehicle, not an actual Mule people) up to the zip site and gearing up to go. We had 2 practise runs...so off I go and for some reason had a tough time with the steering of it, no big deal..By the second practise I not only concentrate to hard on the steering that I flip around I can't make it to the other side and have to pull myself in. Again, no problem. We hit the 3rd tree and they say.."Okay it's time to get started." That's where it happens...Everyones voices are getting quieter, my breathing starts getting heavy, everything is closing in on me and I start to Panic...PANIC PANIC PANIC! I look over at my girlfriend who is a little freaked out too and all I can remember is her looking at me and realizing she had to do an immediate calm down or I was going throw everyone off of our 200 foot tree perch and that would be the end of that. I really don't know what happened...Somehow I calmed myself down got back up on that stool and rode the 783 feet across to the next perch, screaming my head off and praying that I would make it. Anyway by the end we had the time of our life, I would do it again and here are the pictures to show the "fun" we had! The kids had a blast well we were away but I still can't figure out why Jordan is calling Teagan Jordy....She is quite confused about who Jordan is...Try explaining to a 2 year old that SHE Is Jordy and that Teagan is Teagan..anyway here you go! I must go off and get caught up on reading everyone elses blogs...

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/Rk_f_Xo_pkI/AAAAAAAAAF8/qWlthG_PLGw/s320/74.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5066514385585808962" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/Rk_ggXo_plI/AAAAAAAAAGE/szaHPErfvhA/s320/161.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5066514952521492050" />

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/Rk_iIno_pnI/AAAAAAAAAGU/1GzO1grdOg8/s320/IMG_2819.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5066516743522854514" />

Lost...

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/Rjp7HD23JOI/AAAAAAAAAFs/jjKhdGF2KGs/s320/DSCF3424.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5060492492528887010" />
Where has all the time gone!? I can't believe how long it has been since I posted on this blog. We have been so busy with life. Nothing to exciting really. Cassie has lost yet another tooth. The twins are getting bigger and talking more. My mom and I went on a much needed spa retreat! Thanks Mom! We had a great time where by 7:pm we were in our pj's watching mindless television and stuffing our faces, a dream come true vacation, SERIOUSLY! Cameron is into drawing these days. He must have colored a whole coloring book yesterday and tacked them up in his "art gallery" aka. the laundry room. And Jay and I have been busy getting ready for our trip in 3 sleeps to Alaska baby!!!!!!!! My goal is to have fun and to try and not fall off the boat. Yes, this really is a concern for me. I'll be the passenger walking around all the time with a permanent life vest, maybe two after the wine I plan on enjoying. As much as we are going to miss the kids this is a much nedded, much earned vacation. We shall be better parents when we return. Enjoy the pic of Grandma and Grandpa amusing Cameron on his obsession with trains..CHOOO CHOOOOOOO!
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARKE & HEIDI!

Happy Birthday Girls!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RhUXyES4jRI/AAAAAAAAAFk/gl8YKI0dj5A/s320/DSCF3759.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5049968706079722770" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RhUXoES4jQI/AAAAAAAAAFc/yfAzRoKg3h0/s320/DSCF3758.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5049968534281030914" />
I can't believe my girls are 2! It's been a beautiful, challenging and fun 2 years and I can't wait to see what the next year is like....Hmm...2 children in terrible two's? What's the rush? Stay young girls! Five years ago today he decided to enter this world, 4 weeks premature at 7 pounds and 10 ounces (thank you Cameron for coming early, god only knows how big you actually would have been). Our life, seriously, is better because you are in it. You provide us with constant entertainment and challenge us daily in everything. You are bright, sensitive, funny and most of all the best son we could ask for. This is the case of Jordan Jaylee last night. When coming out of the bath I noticed something in her nose and quickly got the first kernel out just to find another on in the other nostril...So after torturing her for awhile (not really) but she probably thought so, it was off to the hospital we go. Arriving nicely at 9:pm where we were taken in to the ENT room in 30 mintues..YES! Quick trip to the hospital. NOT! 6 hours later we returned home where 2 more kernels of corn were removed and the last one being, of course, the largest ass kernel I have ever seen. The postive side to this is that Jordan and I had awesome one on one time. We walked around the hospital, rode on the wheelchair right side up and upside down, counted cheerios, money and anything else that we could play with. Do you think she will learn her lesson or do this again? I'm thinking this isn't the last time.

Update!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RekSQ1bI-5I/AAAAAAAAADo/O2Ie1bawLic/s320/DSCF3457.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5037577738618731410" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RekR_1bI-4I/AAAAAAAAADg/lNx-fxCBoZ8/s320/DSCF3251.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5037577446560955266" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RekR3FbI-3I/AAAAAAAAADY/Xzbi-cgi0uA/s320/DSCF3247.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5037577296237099890" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RekRpFbI-2I/AAAAAAAAADQ/WE_ZRsDNalA/s320/DSCF3175.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5037577055718931298" />
Okay part of my lack of posting is because I could not get my camera to upload pictures and there was no point in me saying anything if I couldn't post a pic is there? Anyway YAY it works again! Have no idea what was wrong with it and honestly don't care as long as it is fixed. So it's been a busy few weeks in the Fisher household...Cassie and Cameron have both started gymnastics and they are loving it! Cassie is in her total glory and Cameron listens so intently. I did not think that was possible! Good boy! Cassie has also got her first wiggly tooth and Glasses!! Kids get excited over the funniest thing...When her tooth was loose she had to phone everyone she knew to tell them about it and her glasses are her pride and joy. It's sad really..a whole year she has suffered from headaches and we didn't think her eyes cause she had them checked a year ago and they were good...The fact that I had to peel her nose off the computer screen should have been a clue that she cannot see! Anyway she is all grown up with her teeth and her glasses...

Not much new with the twins..They are talking a lot more and loving eachother...They are saying Thank you, and Up..And calling eachother...quite cute. They also love their new sport of running away from Mommy and hey to make it fun let's head in different directions. I have never been a fan of those harnesses until now. Do not judge me, unless you have twins.

The homeschooling is going awesome, really awesome. Cassie has come out of her "shell". Not so shy and doing so well in everything. Cameron is begging for me to homeschool him instead of preschool but really once he gets there he loves it so there we shall leave him. Tonight before he fell asleep he says.."Mommy, are you thinking what I'm thinkig?" I said, "What are you thinking Cameron?" He says, "I don't know what I'm thinking, goodnight Mommy." First it started with Jordan, then myself, then.......Teagan, Birnie and Cameron and last night finally it hit Jay..Cassie so far has been spared from this horrible stomach flue and I hope she never gets it..Jay and Cameron got it the absolute worst! Cameron is much better today and Jay is huddled in bed where I suspect he will spend the remainder of the day today. He was a champ through it all..Had to miss work and take care of all of us sickies and I could not have asked for a better husband. Love ya baby! It amazes me to sit and watch them. It is like a reality show happening right in front of you. I always heard about twins and how they have their own language. I grew up with step sisters who are twins and I see the bond they have but you don't really understand it till it stares you in the face everyday and you watch every moment of them. Teagan and Jordan amaze me daily. They look out for one another, beat up on one another and speak to one another in a whole other language. Today for instance they were about to eat breakfast so off they go to their little table. All of a sudden they both grab their bowls, walk to the living room, put down their bowls and walk over to their little table, grab their chairs and take them to where their bowls were and sit down and watch TV while they ate. I just sat there watching in complete awe because all I heard was babble yet they really seemed to get what they were saying. They nod their heads at eachother and laugh at the same time during one of their many "conversations." I know I am truly blessed because not only do I have healthy, beautiful children but children who are the best of friends. I was always worried about what would happen with the third child because Cassie and Cameron are so close but now I don't have to worry because the twins have eachother. I babysat my cousins twins last week and again the same thing. It's as if they are one person. They seem to know how the other feels, what their thinking, what they like, don't like, it's amazing. Now if I can just get Teagan to stop beating up on Jordan....hmmm.....<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_0Vd4juHde0c/RbMKSMpHk0I/AAAAAAAAAB8/8l76T1MTV24/s320/DSCF1892.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5022369317195846466" />

And....one more.........

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing - Share Photos

Look What I Can Do!

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing - Share Photos

I did it!! Although we could do without the sickness we are having a blast watching movies, reading stories, drinking hot chocolate and playing countless games like Buckaroooooo where Cameron is the King. The kids are happy, mom is getting rest and we are cooking up a storm over here. I have added a new link called, YUMMY RECIPES! That turkey, AWESOME! stuffing, AWESOME! Dinner..unbelievable if I do say so myself...We had a great Christmas....A relaxing day of kids playing with their gifts..The kids were spolied, the adults are broke but everyone is happy. And that is all that matters. So anyway back to the dinner..it was great..(Right dad and Connie?) I decided to make Yorkishire puddings with them and here, here's a picture of them. I am going to post the recipe because they are amazing and complete any family meal...I didn't even need dessert! They were it! So enjoy

3 eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup flour

1 tsp. salt

Preheat muffin pan with 1 tsp. oil in bottom of each - 425 F. for 10 mintues. QUICKLY add batter to each, about 1/2 full and return to oven for 20 - 25 mintues. The key is to heat the oil for 10 mintues and to NOT open the oven for at least 20 mintues even if you think they are done cause people they will fall. Fill with gravy and serve...yummmmmmmmmmmy

Hope you all had a great Christmas..Now break out the wine cause it's New Year's baby!

Turkey You Ask?

I am cooking Christmas dinner this year and today I found the best thing ever!!! I am so excited...And I was a bit worried I wouldn't get one but I did...and I can't wait...What am I talking about you ask? The pre-stuffed, cook from frozen BUTTERBALL Turkey!!!!!!! I mean, seriously thank you for making my dinner just that much easier. Who comes up with this stuff? I bet they are millionaires. I wish I was that brilliant. I don't care what you nay sayers say...I have 4 kids, it's christmas and I want Turkey without all the work...If I had it my way we'd eat on paper plates with plastic utensils to cut down on my cleaning time so I can have more wine time but that's what the dishwashers are for so glassware we shall have. I really do love Christmas....I love shopping for everyone, watching the kids open the presents, visit with family members, Christmas parties and all the stuff that goes along with it. However when it is all said and done I'm ready to move on to the next year...The birthdays, THE SUN, the vacations and everything in between. In the meantime I am off to enjoy our awesome holiday so MERRY HO HO ALL!! Hope you all enjoy it and stay safe. Oh and enjoy the Turkey, it's the best part.

A Parent's Nightmare

My poor Jordan. She had a slight fever on Sunday but was in a good mood, I thought, teething as she doesn't do the greatest with it...By Monday her fever had hit 104...so to the doctors we go and they can't find anything..They send us home and tell us to watch her fever and work at controlling that and if it was still high in 24 hours, come back...8:30 pm she wakes up.....Fever 104.7..I am convinced by this time we need to go to the hospital and I said to Jay that if her fever isn't okay in the next 1/2 hour or so I'm taking her. Give her tylenol, she drinks some water..I sit down to cuddle with her and she starts to seizure....The absolute scariest moment of my life. There is nothing worse then seeing your child go through anything, especially this...We called 911 and Jordan took her first ride in an ambulance, mine too for that matter. She was such a troper as they poked and poked and shoved things in places we don't like and restrained her as they took her X-ray....It took awhile to get her fever down, and thank god it wasn't anything serious. Still not sure what caused the high fever, they think maybe her tonsils...Poor kid....We all know where she got her tonsil problems from. Thanks Vick, for being here....you made it here in record time, I'm still amazed...Thanks Momma for coming and spending the night and taking care of us, again. And thank you Jay...without you I would have fallen absolutely apart....You amaze me... Everything is good now.....And Jordan is getting back to her old self....We love you baby!

Driving Me NUTS!

I just pulled out my dark clothes from the dryer and what do I see? What looks like grease stains all over my clothes. !@%* Driving me nuts! What's the problem you wonder? The problem is the last couple of years I have been doing laundry out comes my clothes with these stains on them. The stains aren't there when they go in so why are they there when they come out? I have tried....powdered detergent, liquid detergent, dryer sheets, liquid softener, we have even bought a new washer and dryer because I was convinced it was the old ones..Which weren't even that old! Anyway so out comes my Spray and Wash Dual Power (love it!) and I wash the clothes again.
Does anyone, ANYONE, know whyyyyyyyyyyyy the laundry is torchering me like this? Do the laundry "people" think I have time with 4 kids and a husband to be re washing my clothes? Should doing laundry really be this frustrating? I am losing my mind. I need a vacation.

Slow Days....

I'm feeling almost quilty for not posting in the last week but really there's nothing much to talk about so rather then bore you poor people I thought I'd say nothing at all...But I don't like saying nothing at all as those who know me will agree....Sooo...I'll just bore you instead! Jay took Cameron to his very first hockey game last Tuesday night and it was a defining moment for the father/son relationship....They had a great time and now Daddy is Camerons "best friend". Quite sweet. Cameron got a practise puck, got his mug shot up on the big screen and freaked all the people around him out when he said..."Daddy, I'm going to fro up." After several trips to the bathroom and a couple of "Run to the garbage can" Cameron, I am happy to announce, did not "fro" up. But now he loves hockey and that makes my husband smile. Not that he cares if Cameron likes hockey or not but now they have bonded even more so and that makes us all smile. Those men have to stick together in this house full of girls. I love my boys.

Funny Girl....

Cassie to Momma...

"Why is your neck like that?"

"Like what Cassie?"

"Like that..(points to Mommas beautiful but I guess a bit wrinkled neck, I don't see it!!!)"

"Well Momma is getting old."

"Does that mean you are going to the dump?"

"Why would I go to the dump?"

"Daddy says all old things go to the dump."

100 Things you probably Don't want to know about me!

Okay....I don't know how this is done but I am going to attempt it...

1.) Here's a brief summary for anyone who actually cares...Friday Nov. 10 - 6:30 am - Arrive at hospital, tell hubby she should be done by 1:pm.....8:am surgery time....10:am..wake me up....230pm still in recovery cannot get this patients oxygen levels up..hmm..must be me there talking about...DEEP BREATHES!!! The nurse is yelling at me????!!! I am breathing, not hard enough apparantely..Let's see I have 2 huge supports up my nose and lost a tonsil which according to all of you was crazy for the doctor to do all at once as a tonsillectomy is the most painful adult surgery to have and you're yelling at me? anwyay ...morphine...ahhhhhhhhh....3:pm into recovery......sleep, sleep, more drugs..i think i have to pee...weeeeeeeee..just about fell...okay more drugs....sleep, sleep...It's 7:pm....why am I still here? We need to get the bleeding under control and just make sure your oxygen levels stay okay...alright..feeling some pain, more drugs.....ahhhh.....May have to admitt you..bleedding to much...oh okay....I am seriuolsy in la la land and thinking being admited might be okay if they just keep shooting me with these drugs......8:30..okay the bleeding has slowed we are going to let you go home..if it continues..come back..alrighty..

Next day...WHAT DID THEY DO TO ME? PAIN! PAIN!! Cannot breathe....through mouth, lost my tonsil...holy crap..where's the morphine.!? Tylenol 3's..whatever dude...going to the clinic..hmm...fever 104.1...back to hospital....NOW! more bleeding, and now fever....Awww..hospital...more morphine..love you ppl..and take some of this, and this and come back if you get any worse...

2 hours later..Cannot stop itching..Jay what is that..why can I not stop itching? Hives! Wow, look at your tounge!!! Clinic, allergic reaction to drug..which one? let's try this one..Okay must be it..go home...yes Benedryll much better...take drug...45 mintues later..SERIOUSLY! Wrong drug...back to clinic! Hey here new meds..much better...okay can I start to recover NOW? Sure...5 days in bed, no talking, no eating, no nothing. What happened to all those books Vick gave me? Those movies put together for me? What happnened to my leiusrely week in bed with all this good attention I was gonna get? Whatever, let me sleep...cannot speak..
Day 6..get tubes from nose removed...Holy shit how did those things fit in my nose.....seriously long and wide but yes I can breathe! still can't feel my tongue, burnt beyond belief due to allergic reaction but I can breathe..maybe food now...Yes, jello and chicken broth...nice...Lost 14 lbs!!! sweet! worth it? maybe..Tongue will recover in about a week and both my specialists and family dcotor were amazed that I have healed as nicely as I did considering what happened to me...One doctor reffered it to taking the hottest slice of pizza you can imagine and sticking it directly on your tongue...killing the whole thing....that's what the allergic reaction did, very weird.

Not worth it....It maybe only a week and a half and even though my kids have been here the whole time I miss them soooo much...I cannot believe in a week how much they have changed. Teagan and Jordan are listening, and talking! Talking so much and Cassie and Cameron are just nice little kids. Oh thank you to everyone for everything and all your help but I want my life back now! and I'm sure you want yours back too!
Few more days I should be back at it....now I am enjoying the chill out, play with the kids and sleep when you want part.
I love my kids.
